On Tuesday 11th February we gathered to celebrate the feast day of Saint Gobnait. Each class spoke about the work they had prepared during the last few weeks and they recounted significant events from the life of Saint Gobnait. In appreciation of all the wonderful work done by the children Máistir Ó hArtaigh granted everyone the night off homework! It is always a pleasure to welcome back our past pupils so we were delighted to get a visit from the girls and their colleagues on the Modeligo Camogie Team. They brought their very impressive haul of silverware with them to show us how it is done! Well Done Girls and continued success to you all. Thank You to the boys and girls in Mr Coffey's class for my new Saint Brigid's Cross. They were busy making them during the week so I managed to get one for my room. |
